The morning Caleb said "engu"/"engoooo" again... :) How come he knows to how pronounce my church name in Mandarin?? He has done this a few times (in his good mood) in the past weeks.

I thought the Young Adults Fellowship planning/review meeting was good. As a matter of fact, we didn't have any such meeting in 2006. Everybody was busy, so each month we managed to get by, deciding short term activities and Bible Study topics. It was worst during our last months of pregnancy and after Caleb's birth. But our group sense that we need to do better now. I thank God for everybody's willingness to meet. We had a long day of worship already. I was indeed a challenge for Daisy and I to feed the baby and cook and eat on time. I ended up finishing up my dinner in 5 minutes while she is still working on Caleb. Rushed to Onyee's house on time and only Francis and Onyee were on time. I was a bit unhappy because I only had a short window for meeting. Kinda like Cinderella. LOL. Nonetheless the meeting was good an quite fruitful.

Last Sunday I didn't do a good job delievering the message in Cantonese. I really hope that tomorrow I will do a better job of preaching in English, as well as leading the Sunday School Bible Study (Song of Songs). Lord, I pray that You soak me with the message because I am also the listener and student of Your Word. Your powerful word does not return void without accomplishing what You desire. Lord, forgive me for the fear of failure. Please help me do my best, and I know You will do the rest, for Your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen.

The Leadership Practicum has started this week. Initially I thought it would not be that difficult, but now after the introduction session, it seems like there will be a lot of work for this 9-month learning experience. First I need to establish a covenant with the ministry setting (my church) to set straight the expectation, then decide when to meet with my mentor. There are a lot of things I want to do in my church, is 10-hour each week enough??
